In February 2024, we launched our Domestic Abuse Policy for residents and employees, and domestic abuse training. As part of our project and the consumer standards, we are now DAHA (Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance) members.
We are being assessed under the new framework for supported housing and we expect that this will take 12-18 months, and will provide you with updates along the process. DAHA membership demonstrates a commitment to embedding good practice in response to domestic abuse and adopting their values and principles.
This supports our wider safeguarding framework for all residents and prospective residents by ensuring that we, as an organisation are able to meet improved, positive outcomes for those who are victims/survivors of domestic abuse.
If you would like to know more about our work around domestic abuse, you can speak to your local manager or visit the Housing 21 website page.
