The most recent Extra Care National Residents’ Forum took place on 9 September. This network meets via Microsoft Teams every eight weeks to discuss resident priorities and influence on a national scale.
At the most recent meeting, discussion points included:
- Residents’ Associations, their benefits and their barriers
- The accessibility of communal spaces
- Feedback on the draft guidance and resources on service charge updates
Minutes and actions from this meeting are available under the Resident Information section, along with updates from other national resident networks. They can also be made available from your scheme manager.
In the coming weeks, the forum members will be influencing by scrutinising Housing 21 policies. They will also be preparing to analyse the results of the National Residents’ Survey, from which they will identify specific areas for investigation.
