Procedure

The Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) for each site will be programmed by the surveyor who is responsible for the properties in that area. They should tie in the Assessment visit to coincide with other duties, which will maximise the efficiency of the visit. 

The new inspection must be completed within 12 months of the previous Fire Risk Assessment.

A designated Performance Officer within the Asset Management Team will monitor progress of Fire Risk Assessments, and bring to surveyors attention (and their manager’s) where surveys are outstanding.
