Passive Fire Report

On new build sites, the Construction Project Manager will commission a Passive Fire Report from an external consultant while the site is being completed.  This ensures that at handover, the site is fully compliant with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. 3 months post occupation the surveyor will attend and conduct a separate Fire Risk Assessment aligned to the procedure described above.

Where major changes have taken place to the structure of a scheme, or significant works may possibly have affected the performance of a building to Fire Safety, a surveyor will carry out a Passive Fire Report.
