Kent Better Homes, Active Lives
Better Homes, Active Lives is a partnership between Kent County Council and 10 district and borough councils in Kent. The project provides housing for:
- Older people
- People with learning disabilities
- People with mental health conditions
- Housing 21 provide housing management services to Extra Care residents. Neighbourhood services managers also provide housing services to tenants with learning disabilities or mental health conditions.

Scheme for those with learning disabilities
Those wishing to be considered for the schemes below must fit into the following criteria. You must:
- Be over the age of 16
- Have a learning disability
- Reside in Kent
- Be on the local authority housing register for the area where the scheme is situated
- Be referred by Social Services
The schemes that accept this criteria are:
- Adam Court
- Alfred Deller Court
- Bleriot Court
- Crispe House
- Dolphin Court
- John Goldfinch Court
- Pine Court
- Tiger Court
- Watercress Court
Schemes for those with enduring mental health
To be considered for the scheme below, you must fit the following criteria. You must:
- Be over 16
- Have enduring mental health
- Reside in Kent
- Be on the local authority housing register for the area where the scheme is situated
- Be referred by Kent & Medway Partnership Trust (NHS)
