Helping Hands
We know that sometimes, unexpected things can happen, which can put pressure on your finances.
To help support you with such situations, we have our Helping Hands Fund. The service offers support (subject to eligibility) to help you sustain your tenancy. This includes:
- One-off support of up to £300
- Help with utility debts
- Supermarket vouchers - £190 for a single person and £300 for a couple
- Contributing towards vets' costs, car repairs, new glasses and more
We’re here to help by letting you know what support is out there. We’re holding Helping Hands events in Retirement Living and Extra Care schemes on 5 November and 3 December, so come and chat to us. We want to make sure that you’re not missing out on any benefits, and grants that you’re entitled to. We also want to help you to get the best deals for your household bills.
We're here to help, so please speak to your scheme manager if you have any questions or concerns.
