Stone is known as the food and drink capital of Staffordshire and has a monthly farmers’ market and a variety of popular beer and food festivals. The town has a good selection of supermarkets, high street retailers, independent shops, pubs, cafés, doctors surgeries, dentists, banks and churches.

The court has attractive communal gardens and residents are welcome to get involved with the gardening if they choose. Several of the more green-fingered residents have started a gardening club at the court. Barbecues are held in the gardens in the summer months.
Nearby attractions include Stoke City football ground, Trentham Gardens, Shugborough Hall, the Wedgewood Visitor Centre and Stafford Castle.
