Felixstowe is a lively town, with a wide range of activities for residents to enjoy. There is a Sunday market on the seafront all year round and a small weekly market in the town centre. Throughout the summer, a varied programme of events takes place on the seafront, including classic car shows, arts on the prom and fun runs.

There are good bus and train services from Felixstowe into Ipswich, where you can find mainline connections to the rest of the rail network.
