The court has three areas of well-kept garden, and residents can get involved in the gardening. The gardens are used for social activities throughout the year, weather permitting.
Inside, there is a communal lounge, laundry room, guest room and a treatment room used by visiting medical professionals; such as a podiatrist, opticians and a beautician. Age UK runs a day centre on site six days a week.
The Residents Association on this modern, vibrant Court organise an array of social events to suit all tastes.
Sit and chat with friends and neighbours at the regular coffee mornings and afternoon teas, get active with exercise classes or be creative at the art and craft workshops and knit and natter sessions.
Visits from performers provide entertainment, as do the regular sing-along sessions.
Killingworth has its own indoor shopping centre, banks, post office, doctor's surgery, dentist and churches. A social club and several pubs can be found within walking distance, as can Killingworth Lakeside Park.
