Nearby you will be able to find a doctor's surgery, dentists, banks and a number of churches. Outside the court, there is a courtyard area with seating, and residents are encouraged to get involved in tending the plants.
The court is served by a Dial-A-Bus service three days a week, with services to Weymouth, and there is an Island Community Action Bus which runs from a nearby supermarket.

There is a wealth of attractions in the area, including Portland Harbour, Portland Castle, Portland Bill and the Osprey Leisure Centre and café, as well as resorts and towns along the Jurassic Coast.
