Buses to Darlington town centre run several times an hour from a stop just around the corner from the court and there are several reliable local taxi firms. The court enjoys excellent rail links from the train station just two miles away.

Festing Court has a communal lounge, laundry, guest room and lift, and parking is available on the road outside the court. The court has modern kitchens and walk-in showers, and the flats have their own balconies.
There are pleasant gardens where residents can sit and enjoy the warmer weather or watch the birds who regularly visit the bird baths. Green-fingered residents are welcome to join in with taking care of the plants if they choose.
The bright and airy communal lounge at Festing Court is where residents arrange social activities throughout the year; these include regular coffee mornings, games afternoons and bingo sessions as well as seasonal events. The attractive gardens provide a pleasant space for a spot of outdoor relaxation and birdwatching in fine weather, and the green-fingered are welcome to join in with the gardening if they wish.
The court has good access to local amenities and is just over a mile from the town centre. A newsagent, a park and a community centre are nearby and there are numerous supermarkets and food outlets close to the court.
