Buses run every 10 minutes from a stop just outside the court and will take you into Burton, the surrounding villages or to nearby Derby, Nottingham or Lichfield. Residents also use a local taxi company which offers discounted rates for older people. The train station is within walking distance and provides connections to the wider region.
Curtis Court has a range of onsite facilities including a spacious communal lounge, sitting areas, kitchen, laundry, guest room, lifts and a Car park.
The court has attractive and well-maintained gardens and residents are welcome to join in with taking care of the gardens if they choose. There is a pleasant patio area where residents can read, get together or feed the birds.

In addition there are lovely gardens with a large patio area which is perfect for outdoor socialising in fine weather. There are also monthly visits from a mobile library.
The court is close to a range of local amenities including shops, pubs, doctors surgeries, chemists, small supermarkets, a post office, church and a leisure centre with a gym and swimming pool. Several larger supermarkets are a short drive from the court.
