Cole Court has a range of on-site facilities. The court is surrounded by extensive and well-maintained gardens and some residents enjoy tending the areas in front of their flats. There are several bird feeders around the site and the gardens attract kingfishers, deer and squirrels. Children are welcome at the court.

Cole Court is a friendly scheme with a wide range of social activities for residents to enjoy, these include themed lunches, coffee mornings, table-top sales, entertainment and an annual Christmas party. There is no formal social committee but regular residents meetings are held to ensure all have a say in future event planning. The well maintained gardens provide a pleasant outdoor space to relax and enjoy watching the local wildlife in fine weather.
The court is conveniently located just a short distance from the bustling town centre. Nearby amenities include a post office, doctors surgery, chemist, dentist, optician, library, several churches and a number of pubs.
