The mature landscaped gardens have a number of seating areas for outdoor relaxation in fine weather and green fingered residents are welcome to get involved with tending flowers or growing vegetables if they wish.
The town offers plenty to do, with a variety of pubs, restaurants, cafés, social clubs, supermarkets, a cinema, bowling alley, swimming pool and leisure centre.
