There are a number of pubs and restaurants nearby and the court is just a short drive from swimming pools, boating lakes and parks.
The larger town of Ilford is a 20-minute bus ride away, where residents can enjoy its lively centre with major stores, cinemas, restaurants, cafés, pubs and the Kenneth Moore Theatre.
Buses run regularly from the centre of Barkingside and the town boasts three train stations, all offering direct routes to London. Residents can also choose to use a dial-a-ride service and reliable taxi service to get around.
The court has two guest rooms, a hairdressing salon, a day centre which can be rented out, a catering kitchen and a Car park.
There are two attractive gardens, one of which boasts two fish ponds and a pleasant seating area for residents to relax. Green-fingered residents are welcome to get involved with gardening if they chose. The gardens attract plenty of wildlife for residents to enjoy, including hedgehogs, frogs and squirrels.
Churchill Lodge are currently 50% nominations with Redbridge council.

Regular coffee mornings are held in the bright, spacious communal areas of Churchill Lodge with other entertainment events being held on an adhoc basis. The landscaped gardens boast two ponds and lovely seating areas providing ideal outdoor areas for residents to relax, watch the visiting wildlife and even get involved with a spot of gardening if they wish.
The high street offers a good range of local amenities, including several supermarkets, banks and a post office. There is also a dentist, optician, chemists, a doctors surgery and a number of churches.
