Nearby attractions include the Wat Tyler Country Park in Pitsea, which boasts pleasant country walks, train rides, thatched cottages and a marina with shops and a café. Slightly further afield is Langdon Hills Country Park with acres of country walks and a nearby restaurant.
The courts enjoy a regular bus service between Basildon and Pitsea town centre. Both towns have train stations and Basildon also has a bus station where you can find connections to other destinations including the Lakeside and Bluewater shopping centres and nearby Chelmsford.

The courts have attractive and well-maintained gardens with a patio area where occasional barbecues are held. Residents take pride in the variety of plants and mature shrubs and many choose to get involved with gardening.
Residents of all three friendly and welcoming courts can join together for the regular social events held in the communal areas, these include coffee mornings, fish and chip suppers and family get-togethers. The landscaped gardens provide an attractive outdoor space for barbecues and relaxation in fine weather. Residents also organise off-site outings and trips.
The three courts are located between Basildon and Pitsea, with a variety of shops, larger supermarkets, doctors surgeries, dentists and small shopping parades nearby. The courts are a 20-minute walk to the local town centre or a short bus ride away.
