There is a very active gardening club which gets involved in looking after the grounds, and which has created a vegetable garden.
The court offers easy access to the towns and villages of the Cotswolds, including Chipping Sodbury, Iron Acton, Badminton, Tetbury, Castle Combes, Cirencester, Thornbury and Gloucestershire.
There is plenty for residents to do in the area, with Yate International Festival, Chipping Sodbury Jazz and Blues Festival and Iron Acton’s ‘Proms on the Green’ all within easy reach. Yate has a leisure centre, heritage centre and successful football team. Frome Valley Country Park is just 15 minutes’ walk away.
The court is a short bus ride from Chipping Sodbury, known for its traditional high street and monthly market, and regular buses offer links to Bristol and Bath. Yate has a train station with hourly trains to Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Tewkesbury. There are several local taxi firms and a dial-a-ride service in the area.

Cambrian Green Court has two large communal lounges, a popular hairdressers, and a wellbeing room offering various treatments. It also has a restaurant, laundry, attractive guest room, lift and ample parking. Care is available 24 hours, depending on assessed needs, and there is an emergency call system.
Cambrian Green Court is a modern, vibrant place to live with a community village atmosphere. The residents’ association contributes activities and offers support to residents and the wider community. The varied social calendar includes a range of regular and one-off activities, including trips out, canal cruises, shopping, cinema club, concerts and even Trauma Doll knitting for the Emergency Services.
A range of local amenities including a convenience store, pub, pharmacy, doctors surgery and dentist are just next door to the court, while the Yate Shopping Centre is within easy reach.
