Bramble Hollow is situated on the road between Hetton Le Hole and Easington Lane. It is within walking distance of Hetton Well Being Centre, which has a swimming pool, gym, library and restaurant, and Hetton Lyons Cricket Ground.
There are good transport links with nearby towns and cities, including Sunderland, Seaham, Durham, which has a beautiful cathedral and castle, as well as ancient market place, and Houghton, which hosts a grand feast and fair every October.
It has well maintained gardens, with plenty of benches for residents to sit on and relax. Keen gardeners at the court have purchased their own greenhouse, and have their own plots to tend to. There is a Car park at the rear of the court.

Bramble Hollow offers a restaurant, hair salon, beauty lounge, residents’ lounge and quiet lounge, an outside gym, laundry and guest room, as well as two lifts. Assisted bathing facilities are also available. A local dentist and optician visit the court to attend to residents.
There is a busy calendar of social activities at Bramble Hollow which includes bingo, ‘sit and be fit’ sessions, coffee mornings, social afternoons, visits from entertainers and meals. There is a church service once a month in the main lounge.
There is a group called Friends of Bramble Hollow committee, made up of residents and family members, to raise money for events for the court.
A range of shops can be found close by in Hetton and Easington Lane, including a travel agents, Tesco’s. Fishmongers, bakers, florists and grocers. A post office, pharmacy, bank, doctors surgery and two churches are also within walking distance.
