Both Woking and Guildford have leisure centres and swimming pools, and Woking has a popular theatre and regular farmers’ markets. Thorpe Park theme park is approximately 15 minutes drive away from Alan Hilton Court.
The court is well served by public transport, with buses running every hour in both directions, and a direct door-to-door free bus service to local shops. The nearest main train station is Woking which has fast train service into London Waterloo, which takes just 20 minutes.

Alan Hilton Court has gardens at the front and rear, as well as a lovely centre garden called the Quad, with an arbour adorned with various shrubs. The gardens feature trellises, raised flower beds and seating areas with bird feeders. Residents are welcome to get involved with the gardening with the option of having their own areas to tend.
Alan Hilton Court prides itself on its friendly and welcoming atmosphere. There is a social committee which helps organise activities. Events held at the court include musical entertainment nights, quiz nightsm darts, bingo, games afternoons, tea dances and various charity fund raisers. There is a weekly breakfast club and a monthly lunch club.
Alan Hilton Court has a post office and convenience store within walking distance, as well as a number of pubs which serve food, a village social club, a hair salon and a doctor’s surgery.
