Seagrave Court acquisition
“The transfer was quick, smooth and support for our team has been brilliant.”
This was how one former Midland Heart employee described her transfer to Housing 21 – where she remains employed five years later.
In early 2019 Housing 21 (then known as Housing and Care 21), acquired Seagrave Court in Nottingham from Midland Heart.
All 44 of the rented Extra Care properties, along with residents and employees employed directly by Midland Heart transferred across to Housing 21. At the time, on-site care was provided by Nottingham City Council and continued to be delivered without interruption.
At the time, Billie, who had been the Registered Manager at Seagrave Court for 17 years said: “The welcome from staff at Housing 21 made us all feel very relaxed from day one.
“The transfer was quick, smooth and support for our team has been brilliant. We’re looking forward to meeting more people within the organisation and welcome to a new and improved Seagrave Court, under Housing 21 leadership!”
Five years later, as of March 2024, Billie still remains in post at Seagrave Court as the scheme’s Housing and Care Manager.
