In a testament to Housing 21’s commitment to excellence, the leading not for profit provider of
housing for older people of modest means received its third Quality Recognition Award alongside
Vistry North East.
The award recognises workmanship and site management on construction sites, with the latest accolade from Premier Guarantee received for the site of the new Extra Care scheme, Aldaniti Court.
Previous awards were received for developments sites in Peterlee and Tynemouth, which were also
both delivered in partnership with Vistry.
Premier Guarantee specialises in guiding homebuilders and developers through the build process.
The Quality Recognition Awards serve as a benchmark for excellence within the housing industry,
highlighting organisations that prioritise quality management practices and uphold rigorous
standards in their operations.
The award-winning site in Guisborough North Yorkshire is scheduled to open in Winter 2024. The
scheme will comprise of 12 two bed bungalows for shared ownership along with 71 one bed and two
bed apartments to rent.

The evaluation process for the awards encompasses factors including the standard of the site
management, the standard of workmanship, health and safety protocols and site tidiness.
Housing 21, in partnership with Vistry North East, consistently demonstrated exceptional
performance across these categories.
