The Dementia and Housing Working Group (DHWG) is excited to launch the second webinar series focused on housing and dementia. The event will take place on Thursday 24 September.
This webinar addresses the challenges surrounding diversity. We know there is a lack of understanding of the genetic basis of disease in different ethnicities. According to research, Black people are approximately twice as likely than white people in the same community to develop Alzheimer’s disease.
Who should attend?
This webinar is aimed at anyone involved in housing and dementia, particularly housing providers, designers, architects, local authorities, people living with dementia and their families.
Further details and joining instructions will be announced. In the meantime, watch the latest webinar, Housing: Still rising to the Dementia challenge: About - Dementia and Housing Working Group - Housing Networks - Housing LIN
