Housing 21 has today (Monday) been notified that our construction partner for Fry Court Bungalows in Middlesbrough, Tolent Construction, has filed for notice to appoint an administrator.
Bridget Faughnan-Bing, Head of Construction at Housing 21, said:
"Unfortunately, we have been informed that our construction partner for Fry Court Bungalows, Tolent Construction, has filed for notice to appoint an administrator.
“This is obviously disappointing for everyone involved but Housing 21 is committed to completing these homes and will now take the necessary steps to secure the future of the site and the development.
“We’re planning to resume construction work as quickly as possible with a new contractor and are in direct contact with everyone who is moving to Fry Court Bungalows to keep them informed of progress and revised dates for target completion."
Please note, this announcement does not have any impact on those residents currently living within the scheme at Fry Court which remains fully operational.
