A dementia-friendly organisation

More than 944,000 people across the UK are living with dementia, including one in every 11 people over the age of 65.

We are proud to be a dementia-friendly organisation; we want people living with dementia to feel active, engaged and supported within their communities. We work hard to ensure our schemes incorporate dementia-friendly designs, provide dementia-awareness training to employees and encourage all colleagues and stakeholders to become Dementia Friends through the Alzheimer's Society. 

We are also proud to be an active supporter of the Dementia and Housing Working Group, which is chaired by our Head of Strategic Operations, Vanessa Pritchard-Wilkes. Details of their upcoming webinars and events are shared on our website.
